I am pleased to announce that my new show for Absolute Motorsport TV – James Casey Reflections – is launching later today.
In this weekly show I will be commenting on the biggest stories across several different motorsport series. Episodes will uploaded to the Absolute Motorsport YouTube, Facebook and Instagram TV pages.
In the pilot episode, coming out at 6pm, I will be talking about Yamaha’s shock MotoGP announcement that Fabio Quartararo will replace Valentino Rossi at the factory team in 2021.
I’ve been wanting to do this series for a while now. I really hope that you enjoy and engage with my monologues. The aim of the show is to spark a discussion or perhaps even a debate.
Here are the three things that will be included in the show:
A major part of this show will be me sharing my opinions. Expect to hear my views on the latest rumours, news, events and, on occasions, wider motorsport issues.
I promise not to hold back any of my thoughts and to be as upfront and honest with you as I can.
My opinions might not always be right, but I can assure you that they will be genuine.
Feel free to let me know if you think I’m wrong!
I am a man of detail and I am always updating my motorsport knowledge.
It’s fair to say that I spend a bit too much time looking up race results, championship standings and regulations, so expect to hear a lot of stats and facts on the show.
I also enjoy inspecting the wider picture that arises from any story.
In the show I will always go into detail as I attempt to work out how the dominoes may fall following a single event.
Although the show isn’t going to be live, I will be expressing my reaction to the surprising stories and races that motorsport never fails to deliver.
If something happens that I didn’t see coming, I will let you know.
